A geometric pattern is a pattern made up of lines and geometric shapes like circles, triangles and squares that are typically arranged in a repeated fashion.
If we go back in history, geometric patterns can be found decorating small objects like pottery to large temples as far back as the 4th and 5th millennia BC. Symbolically, geometric patterns represent unity and order.
In the design world geometric shapes and patterns are popping up almost everywhere from clothing and handbags to chandeliers and wallpaper. This trend is hitting the design world by storm and it doesn’t seem to have any plans on slowing down.
I personally love this trend and the way it is creatively used throughout the interior design world. Below are some of my favourite pieces!
